I first started practising yoga (Iyengar) about twenty years ago. Primarily this was to combat back problems and after several years, martial arts took over and yoga took a nback seat, althoughI continued to practice. Having attained my second Dan black belt (and sustaining some serious injuries) yoga drew me back and I became more immersed in the meditative practices rather than just the physical aspects of this amazing system. After practising for several more years and making it a part of my daily routine, I realised it was my Dharma (or calling) to share some of the amazing benefits the remarkable system of hatha yoga with others . My teacher training was arduous and took nearly three years and many hundreds of hours to complete.
